16th International exhibition for domestic and industrial heating, water supply, sanitary, air-conditioning, ventilation equipment

Taking the industry to a new level

From 3 to 6 September 2013, the KazBuild 2013 exhibition of construction and interiors, windows, doors and facades will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event, taking place for the 20th time, will be held alongside Aqua-Therm Almaty 2013, the 6th Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary, Environmental Technology and Swimming Pools.

Taking up four pavilions of the Atakent Exhibition Centre and its outdoor space, this year the event will present 520 on-site and off-site exhibitors from 25 countries. Compared to last year, exhibitor numbers have increased by 15% and exhibition space by 25%.

Major companies presenting the latest products and achievements have been keen to take part in these events. Energy-efficiency, energy saving and high profitability are features that can be seen in the products and solutions of almost every exhibitor. Over the four days they are held, the following will be showcased at KazBuild and Aqua-Therm Almaty: photovoltaic glass that produces solar energy, self-cleaning fibre cement panels, zeolite and heat pumps to convert soil, water and wind energy, solar collector systems, and much more.

The international status of these events and their importance for the region is confirmed by annual participation from a large number of countries. This year six national stands will feature at KazBuild in Pavilion 9A: Germany, Italy, Poland, the UAE, Finland and South Korea. Germany is helping its companies to exhibit in two areas – with two separate national stands at KazBuild in Pavilion 9A and Aqua-Therm Almaty in Pavilion 11. Also, the Omsk Regional Fund for Small Business Support and Development has organised the participation of around 10 Russian producers.

The five leading exhibiting countries are as follows: Kazakhstan (37% of exhibitors), Russia (16%), Italy (13.5%), China (9%) and Germany (5.5%).

19 presentations and seminars from companies will take place in the two seminar rooms (Pavilions 9 and 11), as well as a workshop entitled 'Usage of energy-efficient technologies in building constructions', the 'Goods, Brands, Technology' international construction innovations competition, and the 'Prospects for architecture development and urban construction in Kazakhstan' round table.
