Aquatherm Almaty: cooperation and exchange of experience as an effective tool for the development and modernization of the housing and utilities sector
On September 5-8, 2017 in Almaty holds the 10th Anniversary International Exhibition for Domestic and Industrial Equipment for Heating, Water Supply, Sanitary, Air Conditioning and Ventilation - Aquatherm Almaty 2017. Having made its way from a small section called Heat & Vent Plus of KazBuild exhibition it grew into one of the largest projects attracting more than 180 participants from 18 countries of the world. Aquatherm Almaty has acquired the status of the main B2B platform of the industry for meetings of producers and buyers, studying innovative solutions in design and construction, viewing new equipment, expanding business geography and the network of business contacts in the run up to the construction season.
Over 10 years of its work, the exhibition has rightfully become an important source of information and solutions for specialists in the HVAC industry. More than 5,000 specialists in the sphere of industrial and domestic construction, engineering services, manufacturers, representatives of state and industry associations and media visit Aquatherm Almaty every year to study development trends of the market, find products and services of interest to them, and new markets. 80% of visitors make decisions and influence decision-making on the purchase of goods and services presented at the exhibition.
The global presence is featured by the expositions of the leading countries of the industry - Austria, Germany, Denmark, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, South Korea. The German manufacturers’ national group will present sewage and pumping equipment, sanitary and ventilation solutions for industrial and domestic facilities, and will make up a significant part of the specialized section “Heating Equipment”. The Russian participants’ impressive exposition in 2017 is replenished with 12 new companies and takes more than 260 sq.m. The participants of the Chinese collective exposition will present to the specialists new effective solutions and a large number of the latest equipment.
The deserved status of the international exhibition is confirmed not only by the large number of participating countries, but also by representative national expositions organized with the support of state bodies and associations. Aquatherm Almaty 2017 will present 48 companies, distributors and developers from Kazakhstan with new products and equipment, including 14 manufacturing enterprises.
The business program events will be held on September 5 and 6. The round table “Housing Utilities Sector Development Programs - Modernization and New Solutions” will present a unique dialogue platform for discussing the most important issues of housing and utilities sector and exchanging innovative solutions. The representatives of state bodies and independent organizations will discuss the implementation of energy-efficient technologies and further stages in the modernization of housing and public utilities in the context of Kazakhstan’s transition to a green economy model.
Thus, the Federation of the German Heating Industry (BDH) will tell us about an integrated approach to the development of heating and cooling systems in Europe. Kazakhstan’s Center for Modernization and Development of Housing and Communal Services will disclose the stages of work to provide quality public services to consumers, ensure the reliability of life support systems, and improve energy efficiency in the housing and utilities sector.
“Almaty Heating Networks” LLP and “Almaty Su Holding” SOPE will present a report on the progress of the reconstruction of the city heating networks, and also will introduce new solutions in the sphere of water supply, water removal and sewage treatment.
In the framework of the business program on the first day the ceremonies of signing contracts and memoranda will traditionally be held. We would like to remind that in the framework of Aquatherm Almaty 2016 the agreements and memoranda aimed at expanding the cooperation between the largest companies, municipal services of the city, as well as contractors were signed. The agreement on repair works and material supply with a total price of 1.5 billion tenge was concluded between “Almaty Power Plants” JSC and “ABS-Kurylys Service”. The contract worth more than 130 million tenge was signed between “ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Aktau” and “Alvis”. Only on the first day of the exhibition 11 contracts worth more than 2 billion tenge were concluded.
The business program agenda of the second day will include the discussion and presentations of the latest technologies in the sphere of water treatment. In the framework of the given topic the onsite excursion to sewage treatment facilities of Almaty city, KOS-1 will be organized.
On the third day of the exhibition the business program will include the onsite excursion to the Pumping Station of “Almaty Heating Networks” LLP and a visit to the new Training Center of “Almaty Heating Networks” LLP.
A number of business seminars and trainings from well-known market players and leading experts will complement the exhibition’s business program. The Practical Zone for specialists - a special platform for demonstrating the advantages of products and equipment in action will be organized as well.
