KazBuild & Aqua-Therm Almaty have increased by 20%

On 6-9 September 2011, Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty will host the region’s major exhibitions, KazBuild and Aqua-Therm Almaty. The events are organised by ITE Group Plc (UK), Iteca (Kazakhstan), GiMA (Germany), EUF (Turkey,) and Fin-Mark (Italy).
Compared to last year, the exhibitions have grown by 20%. Together, the exhibitions will feature 440 direct and indirect exhibitors from 27 countries. Of the total number of exhibitors, 56% regularly take part in the event and 44% are newcomers. It is pleasing to note that Kazakhstan is in the lead in terms of the number of companies represented, accounting for 42% of the exhibitors; European companies account for over 22%; and the leader among CIS countries is the Russian Federation, which accounts for 15% of exhibitors. The geographic profile of exhibitors has expanded through the participation newcomers from Azerbaijan, Jordan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Sweden and USA. The companies participating in the Interiors sector and Aqua-Therm-Almaty have been vey active.

Four national groups will be presented at KazBuild 2011 and Aqua-Therm Almaty 2011, which testifies to the great interest of the international trade community in the Kazakh market, and to the prestige and credibility of these events. Along with the traditional national groups from Germany (15 companies), Finland (8 companies), France (10 companies), and South Korea (20 companies), companies from Italy (24 companies) are also present in large numbers.

New products. At KazBuild 2011, industry professionals will be offered some 150 new products in the following areas: lighting, insulation, finishing materials, dry mixes, fixing materials, new façade systems, exclusive new stone collections, parquet flooring, sidings with unique technical features, shatterproof plastic wood, aluminium and plastic shapes, spotlights, top security locks, and much more. Aqua-Therm Almaty 2011 will present new boilers, radiators, underfloor heating, UV heating systems, bathroom accessories, multi-stage water filters, and innovative solutions for wastewater treatment – about 60 products in all.

For your information: official statistics provided by the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first half of 2011 show a substantial increase in the volume of investment in housing construction (KZT 171. 4 billion, or 124.3% compared with the same period in 2010). Across the country, 21,228 flats have been commissioned, with 2.4 million square metres of housing being built.

The international standard of organisation of KazBuild and Aqua-Therm Almaty is confirmed by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

The exhibitions will present companies from 27 countries: Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Jordan, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and United States.

Official support for the events is provided by the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Administration, and diplomatic missions of the participating countries.

The next KazBuild and Aqua-Therm Almaty exhibitions will take place on 4-7 September 2012.
